Wow! It’s been a fantastic season so far for our Corporate Greeting Card division, Vivid Greetings. We’ve had little time to stop and catch our breath – let alone post this overdue news update. We’ve had an excellent response to our corporate greeting card promotions and orders have been rolling through the door. If your business is on the fence about sending out greeting cards, take a couple of minutes to read the list below. These points have been generated through more than 20 years of client interaction and feedback.

1. A greeting card is an open invitation for contact.
You have established yourself in a positive light and gain valuable time inside of your client’s or customer’s mind.
2. They are targeted to your client base.
Sending your greeting card is an effort to solidify the client base you already have. Let your customers know that you care enough to put in this effort to check in with them — happy customers lead to more referrals down the road.
3. It isn’t marketing.
Your greeting card will put your name and company in front of your recipient, but as a personal message rather than a general advertisement.
4. They will remember you.
Dedicating the time and money into producing and sending a greeting card will leave an impression on your client. They will think of you first next time they need your service.
5. You will be put on display.
What other business tool would your clients put on display upon arrival? A customized greeting card will act as a miniature billboard for your business in their workplace.
6. An effective way to announce important corporate milestones.
Have a corporate anniversary coming up? Perhaps a merger or move to a new location?
These are perfect opportunities to reach out and connect with your clients and customers on a personal level.
7. Greeting cards are welcomed.
Have you ever received a personalized greeting card envelope in the mail and dismissed it?
Greeting cards are an excellent way to rise to the top of a mail stack.
8. Another dimension to your networking practices.
A tactile sentiment is a welcome change from the world of digital social media. Reach out to your network on a personal level and avoid getting lost in the noise.
9. Maintain great client relationships.
“A business absolutely devoted to Customer Service Excellence will have only one worry about profits… They will be embarrassingly large.” — Henry Ford

How do you interpret the use of QR codes?
Are they a necessary tool for your business? Or merely an exercise to demonstrate that your thumb is firmly on the pulse of urban culture?
Well… we’ll go with the former.
While at this point using QR codes on business collaterals is still in the early-adoption stage, there is plenty of social evidence and acceptance to predict they will thrive in our respective urban expanses for years to come.
The factors? Convenience. Instant Gratification. Social Connection. Tracking.
The acronym “QR” is short for “Quick Response”. Fittingly, this 2-dimensional marketing tool allows any business to forge an instant point of contact from virtually any physical place imaginable.
So, what does that mean for your business?
Simply, all of those urbanites walking around with cell phones in their hands (your target market?) can find instant access to your online service or products. As a matter of fact… instant access to your service or products at the exact moment their interest is piqued.
Even better, when in cahoots with the world of Google, QR codes are a marketing dream-come-true because of yet another new-age online tool: web analytics. Link your unique QR code with Google Analytics to track the response of your audience and view detailed reports of how well your QR code is doing. Brilliant!
Hold on! There is a catch. Now that your QR code is pointing Mr. Consumer from point A to point B, point B better be well optimized to handle mobile browsing devices… How’s your mobile landing page coming along?

How do you gain instant credibility within your industry?
To anyone seeking services that you offer, how does your business rise above the crowd?
Well, one great method to achieve respect within your industry is to announce the anniversary of your company’s inception. There are many ways to do this, but none more important or effective than where your business image begins: your company logo.
Vivid Graphics has been around for 25 years now so we were naturally enthusiastic to take advantage of the celebratory logo concept. Passionate and excited about design, our designers pounced on the chance to make an impression with a clever and meaningful mark that turned out as both curious and graceful, while seamlessly tying into our existing logo for additional branding strength.
